Since the inception of the McGuinness McDermott Foundation in 1996 our charity has been generously supported by all South Australians.

A number of our States more prominent corporate leaders have set the example for others to follow and at the top of the tree is our great friends at Hudsons Coffee.

Hudsons Organic Certified Fairtrade Coffee combines two new  elements into the Hudsons Coffee retail range.  Hudsons Organic Certified Fairtrade is coffee grown organically (under environmentally responsible conditions where the rich natural soil is free from pesticides and the coffee has not been sprayed with chemicals) and because it is also Fairtrade certified, it helps to support third world coffee farmers.

Fairtrade Certification requires a 'premium' to be paid for products having its label - this premium is a separate payment designed for social and economic development in the producing communities.  The farmer-owned Fairtrade co-operatives decide how these funds are to be spent to benefit their community.  The funds are often used to invest in improved housing, much needed health care, education and safer work practices.
